Big Church
Big Church is not a Christian dating service. It claims to be, but they have no interest in maintaining Christian values or making sure their members are actual Christiansyup. Their sign up page was a dead giveaway to me that this site is not what it claims to be. You can sign up as a man seeking a man, a woman seeking a woman, or a man or woman seeking both. If thats not bad enough, one of the options for "How serious is your relationship with God" question is "I don't believe in God". Whosa what?! So basically you can sign up for this "Christian" dating service as a ho mo se xu al a e t h i e s t. Obviously, the integrity of this service was questioned before I even signed up!
Before I recieved my confirmation email, I did a little investigating and within minutes found that big church just happens to be owned by the Friend Finder network! If you aren't familiar with this organization, they own multiple themed dating services, some of which promote ho mos exu a l relationships and casual se xu al relations outside of marriage.[1] After reading about this, I deleted my welcome email and never signed in.
Because they promote ho mo se xu al relations and fo rn ic at ion, I decided not to review this site. Afterall, this is a CHRISTIAN dating review guide.
UPDATE:
It has been brought to our attention that as of December 12th 2008, p e n t h o u s e media (the same as the s m u t magazine), have purchased the friendfinder network, including Big Church. If there weren't enough reasons before to stay away from this service, I would say his should be enough on its own. Absolutely shameless. [2]
